aspect ratio 4:3 strange behavior in wordpress

Now play the first video of the playlist and then the second video.

Let me explain. The first video is my way of demonstrating the problem. I have made this one specifically 480x360 to match the frame size of the player and it looks good. The rest of the videos are natively 640x480 also a 4:3 aspect but they do not scale down to the 480x360 frame properly.
However in another embed of the exact same playlist ( behind a login and on a different domain) the scaling occurs correctly.
Is this a bug with Wordpress because the other player is not on Wordpress site.

Are you using the same ‘stretching’ value for the two players?

Also, please make sure there is no CSS (from wordpress) that is interfering with the player regions. This happens from time to time with some Wordpress themes.

I was not using any stretching line because I have always set up the players with the right aspect sizes. anyhow, I set stretching to 'exactfit" and also 'fill" just now and it makes no difference.
I have no access to the CSS it is not my site.

By the way, it only happens when rendered in html5, changing to flash solves it - but in this situation I want to use html5

Ok thxs. Not my site and the webmaster of the customer is a bit touchy with what i have already been doing. Don't thing I want to ask her to change any CSS. I guess I will just use flash
