We noticed that JWPlayer 6.11 stops live HLS playback and sends a complete event to google analytics without human interaction. Also we noticed that when you pause a live playback it resumes alone either without human interaction.
Why is that?
I’ve never seen our player resume a paused video without human interaction? Perhaps it’s a really interesting video and the player wanted to see the rest of it? (Just kidding.)

Now it is not stopping, but before it did many times and even it sent a complete event of GA.
On the other hand when you pause, it still resuming after few minutes.

I did some further testing with our software engineers. You’re using a live DVR stream, so our player is resuming after we run out of buffer. Your two possible workarounds would be to set the player to stop when the user clicks the pause button, or possibly extending the buffer time from your live stream.
